Father Andy came to Madison in 2006 to become the tenth Rector of Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Fr. Andy grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC and graduated from Juniata College in 1982 with a BA in music and philosophy.

He has worked as a professional musician, as a guitar and violin repairman, and as a sign language interpreter. He was a stay-at-home dad for seven years before entering The Virginia Theological Seminary where he graduated with honors in 2002. Before coming to Madison he served at All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick Maryland as the Assistant to the Rector.

Fr. Andy and his wife Suzanne have been married for thirty three years and have two sons.  He still enjoys playing the guitar, fly fishing, and tai chi.
